Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Test Company, operated by Service Directories, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, records, processes, and protects your information across development.iamjeffco.com and affiliated directory network domains (collectively, the "Platform").
Please review this document in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy.
1. Important Notice: Independent Curation & Embedded Media
Our Platform operates as an independent digital directory, search indexing engine, and curation service. We organize publicly distributed video, audio, and podcast metadata. We do not host, store, or re-encode video or audio media files on our servers.
All media playback occurs strictly via authorized third-party embed frameworks (principally the official YouTube IFrame Embed Player) or public streaming networks. Because these elements render directly from external host environments, independent third parties collect and process technical telemetry directly from your browser as detailed below.
2. Technical Data & Information We Directly Collect
Whenever you access, navigate, or interact with any page on the Platform, our systems automatically collect and log specific digital identifiers and telemetry, including:
Internet Protocol (IP) Address: Your public IPv4 or IPv6 address used to connect your device to the internet.
Device Type & Hardware Specifications: The category and attributes of your hardware (e.g., desktop computer, mobile smartphone, tablet), screen dimensions, orientation, and display resolution.
User Agent String: Technical browser and operating system identifiers transmitted by your web client (detailing browser family, engine, version, and underlying OS platform such as Windows, macOS, iOS, or Android).
Referrer Information (Referring URL): The specific web address, search query, external link, or campaign string (e.g., utm_source, utm_medium) that directed your browser to our site.
Current Page Visited & Navigation Path: The exact Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) or page URL you are currently viewing, timestamps of request/arrival, dwell time, internal clicks to other directory links, and exit pages.
Direct Communications & Submissions: Inquiries, delisting requests, or formal statutory DMCA takedown demands transmitted to our legal desk at podcasts-legal@servicedirectoriesinc.com.
3. Third-Party Infrastructure, Database & Telemetry Vendors
You acknowledge and agree that numerous independent third-party vendors and cloud infrastructure partners operate across this Platform and obtain, process, host, or record your technical data (including IP address, device type, user agent, referrer URL, and current page visited):
A. Core Database & Operational Infrastructure (Supabase)
Provider: Supabase, Inc.
Purpose: Powers the production relational database and backend architecture that operates the Platform.
Data Handled & Logged: System audit trails, directory routing records, security access logs, communication form inputs, account metadata (where applicable), and associated connection headers—expressly including IP addresses, device metadata, user agent strings, referrer paths, and current page activity.
Security & Storage: Supabase provides enterprise-grade, encrypted database infrastructure to ensure system stability, operational resilience, and audit trail integrity. For more details, consult the Supabase Privacy Policy.
B. Session Capture, Heatmaps & User Experience Telemetry (Microsoft Clarity)
Provider: Microsoft Corporation
Purpose: To analyze how visitors navigate our directories, evaluate usability bottlenecks, and redesign the user interface to minimize friction and improve readability.
Data Captured & Evaluated: We utilize Microsoft Clarity to record behavioral metrics and interaction telemetry. Clarity captures:
Your IP address, device type, browser user agent, referring URL, and the current page visited;
Mouse movements, clicks, taps, scrolling depth, and rage clicks;
Session replays and visual screen interaction recordings illustrating page navigation and UI flow;
Geographic location (approximate country/city derived from IP) and screen resolution.
Sensitive Field Masking: Microsoft Clarity applies automated masking rules to prevent passwords and sensitive inputs from being captured in recordings.
Microsoft Advertising & Analytics: Microsoft may capture or receive personal data through Clarity for behavioral modeling, heatmaps, and product performance measurement pursuant to the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
C. Embedded Media Players & Streaming Distribution
YouTube / Google LLC: Interacting with an embedded video is technically equivalent to visiting YouTube directly. Google servers independently capture your IP address, device type, user agent, and the current page containing the embed, deploying persistent tracking identifiers (VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC, PREF) to record viewing history, evaluate bandwidth, combat fraud, and serve personalized ads if logged into a Google account. Review the Google Privacy Policy.
Podcast Distribution Servers: Curated podcast links and audio streams originate directly from host server networks (e.g., Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Libsyn, Megaphone), which independently log listener IP addresses, user agents, and referring pages upon streaming requests.
D. Outbound Affiliate Merchants & Ad Networks
Episode show notes and product references frequently contain outbound affiliate links.
Clicking an outbound recommendation transmits your referrer URL, user agent, and IP address to the destination merchant and affiliate platform (e.g., Amazon Associates, ShareASale, CJ Affiliate) to verify referral purchases and assign commissions.
4. How We Use Collected Telemetry
Service Directories, Inc. and its technical systems utilize your IP address, device type, user agent, referrer data, and current page records strictly to:
Serve and render the directory correctly for your specific browser and screen dimensions;
Maintain database performance, audit trails, and backend operations via Supabase;
Review heatmaps and session replays via Microsoft Clarity to resolve layout friction and improve usability;
Defend against malicious scraping, automated bots, brute-force attacks, and DDoS disruptions;
Validate referral traffic and assess aggregate reader interest in specific directory categories;
Process legal delisting requests and statutory DMCA notices;
Fulfill legal, regulatory, and audit obligations under New York State and federal laws.
Service Directories, Inc. does not sell, rent, or trade your personal telemetry to third-party data brokers.
5. Your Choices and Controls
Browser Cookie & Telemetry Controls: You can adjust your browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) to block third-party cookies or strip referrer headers. Note that disabling third-party assets may impair YouTube embedded player functionality.
Microsoft Clarity & Advertising Opt-Out: You can control data processing and personalized advertising across Microsoft services via the Microsoft Privacy Dashboard.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): The Platform recognizes browser-level GPC signals, disabling non-essential marketing trackers where required by law.
6. Data Security & New York SHIELD Act Notice
In compliance with the New York Stop Hacks and Improve Electronic Data Security (SHIELD) Act, Service Directories, Inc. maintains reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards. All database assets managed via Supabase and analytics integrations via Microsoft Clarity utilize industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption in transit and secure server-level controls. However, no digital transmission across the public internet can be guaranteed as completely invulnerable.
7. Children’s Online Privacy Protection (COPPA)
This Platform is intended strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect, record, or store personal data from children under 13. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information, please contact our legal desk immediately for prompt deletion from our database.
8. Policy Revisions
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect software upgrades, new backend integrations, or changes in regulatory standards. Updates take effect immediately upon posting with a refreshed "Last Updated" timestamp.
